Taylor Anderson tossed four touchdown passes to lead Westlake past Brennan 49-7 Friday night in the second round of the Class 6A Division II playoffs.
The Chaparrals totaling up over 400 yards of offense.
Anderson passed for 262 yards, finding main target Penny Baker (4 catches, 101 yards) on touchdown passes of 66 and 14 yards. Anderson also added a one-yard rushing touchdown for the Chaparrals.
The Bears could not find the end zone until the 4th quarter, Jordan Flores scored on a 42-yard run to prevent a shutout.
The Westlake Chaparrals improved to 11-1 with the victory and will advance to the next round of the playoffs in face Vela Sabercats on Friday, while Brennan dropped to 8-4 to end the 2018 football season.
