Veterans Memorial senior quarterback Khaliq Paulette, scored four touchdowns as the Patriots dominated Hazel Jefferson, 49-7 at D.W. Rutledge Stadium.
Patriots led 21-0 after the first quarter and 35-0 at halftime.
Khaliq Paulette scored on keepers of 40, 42, 8 and 8-yards – all in the first half. He also completed 10-of-15 passes for 164 yards, (Ballin Jackson 45-yards and Sabastian Cappuccio 7-yard) with two touchdown passes.
JC Solitare added a 54-yard rushing TD to finish the scoring for the Patriots.
Jefferson’s lone touchdown came from Evan Quintero with a two yard scoring run late in the fourth quarter.
What’s next?: Veterans Memorial will match up against Burbank, and Jefferson will host Wagner Thunderbirds at Alamo Stadium.
