Steel Knights Cinco Ranch knew what Steele was going to do, but proved powerless to stop it.

Steele attempted just seven passes and ran 43 times for 202 yards, as senior Xavier Martin rolled up 190 yards to lead Knights to a 35-14 victory over Cinco Ranch in the 6A Divison II state semi-final football game played on Saturday, December 10, 2016.

Steele (14-1), will be playing in the championship game the first time since 2010, they will face Desoto who has remained undefeated this football season.

Did you know?

Steele lost only one game this season to Lake Travis in that was in overtime 59-56.

Brenden Brady had 14 carries and 58 yards rushing with three touchdowns. Cj Williams rushed for 21 yards and had 55 in the air. Jayden Jackson had 18 total tackles and Terron Morris with 10 total tackles.

The Knights will travel to AT&T Stadium in Arlington to face the Eagles on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 4pm
