All roads lead to the Alamo Stadium tonight for this week’s Thursday Night Lights featuring Sam Houston Hurricanes and the Edison Golden Bears.

Branden Adams accounted for three touchdowns in Sam Houston’s 28-7 win over Edison.

The Hurricanes jumped out with a 21-7 lead at halftime over the 5A Golden Bears, Sam Houston’s Branden Adams (RB) put the Hurricanes on the board with the first two touchdowns in the first quarter. Adams broke free late in the fourth to finish off a 75-yard touchdown.

Hurricanes Charles Ware (RB) scored on a 59-yard touchdown run early in the second quarter.

The Golden Bears were unable to find the end zone until late in the second quarter when Golden Bears Brad Matterson runs the ball in for a 19-yard touchdown.

Sam Houston will take on Brackenridge Eagles on Thursday night at Alamo Stadium, while Edison will take on Lanier at SAISD Sports Complex on Friday.
