Oxford Yellow Jackets had to travel to play their first game of the 2018 season, and the final result was well worth the trip. They blew past Munford Lions 28-0. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Oxford had established a 21-0 advantage. This was the first game for both teams, giving Oxford a 1-0 record and starting Munford off at 0-1.

Next week, Oxford take on Gadsden City at 7:00 PM. As for Munford, they will face off against Talladega.

The Yellow Jackets defeated the Lions 28-0.
