Running back Zion Taylor for O’Connor is first to find pay dirt with 9:02 in the first quarter and extra point by Caleb Smith makes it 7-0. Panther’s second touch down attempt was called back for holding on offense and a block to the back. The Panthers would have to settle for a field goal 10-0 with 46 seconds left in the first.
Panthers put up a touchdown in the second quarter with a 15 yard reception by John Locke and a missed extra point attempt 16-0 with 9:42 left in the second. O’Connor quarterback David Dodd rushes 13 yards for 6 points and another extra point goes wide to the right 22-0. Panthers blocks a Cougars punt from the end zone and the ball is picked up by Panthers Brandon Garza for a touchdown and good extra point 29-0 with 1:47 left in the half. The Panthers wide receiver Carson Jones scores with a 15 yard completion with 9 seconds left in the half 36-0.
The third quarter adds 3 points to the Panthers scoreboard with a 49 yard field goal by Ethan Jarman 39-0. Panthers would attempt another field goal but it drifts to the right and is no good with 2:31 left in the 3rd 39-0.
O’Connor gets an early 4th quarter field goal 42-0. Samuel Anguiano Panthers runs 30 yards for O’Connors final touchdown and a good extra point kick makes it 49-0.
O’Connor wins 49-0.
