Munford 20, Moody 7

The Munford Lions football defeated the visiting Moody Blue Devils, 20-7 in Friday’s league bout.

In their next game, the Lions face the Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils in a 5A Region 5 bout, on Friday, October 11. Munford will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 34-28 league win over Central of Clay County.

The Blue Devils (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Springville. The Tigers enter the 5A Region 5 bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Springville lost by Center Point, 40-7, in a league bout.
