The Lincoln Golden Bears and the Munford Lions met Friday night at Keith Howard Memorial Stadium where they played an action-packed game in front of a big crowd.
The Golden Bears won the game with no timeouts left late in the bottom of the fourth quarter, it was 4th down and 19 to go, Golden Bears went to Cameron Reynolds on a hook and ladder play who took the ball 99 yards for the game-winning TD.
Despite an outstanding second-half performance by the Munford Lions, they still came up short in the end.
Next week both teams will be on the road, the Golden Bears will travel to Holtville and Lions will travel to Moody.
