Judson 59, Canyon 3
Michael Chandler threw a pair of touchdowns as Judson defeated Canyon 59-3 on Friday.
Rockets Kameron Lopez set the tone for the offense, on the opening play Lopez caught a pass in took it to the end zone 67-yards.
Sincere McCormick added two touchdowns. Anthony Shelton catches a touchdown pass in the end zone as the buzzer sounded for haltime.
The Rockets led at the halftime 35-3.
Canyon didn’t find the end zone until late in the second quarter, Rockets defense denied Cougars three attempts to get into the end zone from the one-yard line Cougars had to settle for a field goal.
The Rockets moved to 7-0 with the victory and will travel to East Central on next Friday night, while Cougars dropped to 3-5 on the season. Canyon will host to Cibilo Steele Knights next Friday night.
