Jacory Logan #6 dives into the end zone tapping the pylon with the ball making the first touchdown of the game. The extra point is good putting the Hawks in the lead early in the first quarter 7-0.
Elijah Gonzales #81 runs 28 yards for a TD that was called back for offensive holding and a personal foul on the defense.
After that play the Hawks scored a touchdown that counts by Ethan Esparza #11 with a good extra point 14-0.
United South #22 Brian Benavides gets the Panthers on the board with a first quarter touchdown 14-7 Hawks.
Harlan #6 Jacory Logan picks up another Hawk touchdown but the extra point attempt was blocked giving the ball to the Panthers. The score is 20-7 Harlan.
Aubrey McDade Hawks #2 gets a 14-yard touchdown with a missed extra point that went wide left but there was a flag on the play giving the Hawks a second attempt. Harlan went for a sucessful two point conversion by #1 Kannon Williams 28-7.
After halftime no points were added to the scoreboard until the 4th quarter by United South #22 Brian Benavides touchdown giving the Panthers 14 points total in the game.
Final score favored the Hawks 28-14.
What’s next?: Harlan host Del Rio next week, and United South plays Nixon.
