The Ohio State University commit Garrett Wilson (Lake Travis High School, Austin, TX), No. 2 player in the country, was officially recognized Wednesday as a 2019 All-American during a celebratory assembly at his school.
Wilson is scheduled to play in the 19th edition of the All-American Bowl presented by American Family Insurance early next year. The East vs. West matchup is scheduled for Jan. 5, 2019, in the Alamodome in San Antonio.
The game, which will be televised at noon on NBC, features 100 of the top high school players in the nation. Players who have participated in the game previously include New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck and Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
