Chaminade-Julienne 58, Greenville 16

Behind the play of junior quarterback Ryan Minor and running back Quincy Johnson, Chaminade-Julienne scored early and often en route to a 58-16 victory over Greenville on Thursday Night Lights.

CJ stormed to a 28-3 lead after one-quarter of play after Minor hooked up with Dominic Wilcox on two scoring strikes in the opening stanza, while Johnson would reach the end zone twice on runs covering 46 and 7 yards, respectively.

Minor completed 16 of 22 passes for 250 yards and four touchdowns as the Eagles (3-0) stormed out to a 48-3 halftime advantage. Johnson added 126 rushing yards, while Wilcox led CJ with five receptions for 118 yards to lead the Eagles receivers.

Greenville (2-1) was led by running back Landon Eldridge, who rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns in a losing effort. For the season, Eldridge averages 186.3 yards per game and has rushed for ten touchdowns.

In Week 4, Chaminade-Julienne will host Purcell Martin out of the Cincinnati area, while Greenville will travel to Xenia on Friday.
