The win got Central of Clay County back to even at 1-1. Munford is still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Central of Clay County is packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Springville next week at 7:00 PM. Munford will look to defend their home turf against Center Point at 7:00 PM.

The Volunteers defeated the Lions 35-14.
