60th Annual McGuinness Classic
January 9th, 10th & 11th
The Edmond Memorial Bulldogs held on to win in a game that came down to the last minute to knock off the Midwest City Bombers in the championship game of the McGuinness Classic at McCarthy Gymnasium.
Bulldogs Junior guard, Sean Pedulla scored the final bucket to give Memorial the lead with just seconds remaining.
Sean Pedulla was named tournament MVP, after a strong performance Pedulla finished with 28 points on 57% shooting (8-14) and five 3-pointers.
The McGuinness Classic is the longest running boys basketball tournament in the state. This year they feautured:

6A – Choctaw – Yellowjackets
6A – Deer Creek – Antlers
6A – Edmond Memorial – Bulldogs
6A – Midwest City – Bombers
6A – Edmond Santa Fe – Wolves
6A – Norman – Tigers
6A – Norman North – Timberwolves
Edmond Memorial won the Championship, Midwest City finished second and Norman North finished third defeating Choctaw 62-59.
