Sam Houston 45, Dripping Springs 43:

Braylen Sanchez scored a game-high 14 points and hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give Hurricanes a dramatic win over Tigers in the 5A neutral playoff game in Cibilo.

Hurricanes trailed 32-31 at the end of the third quarter but outscored the Tigers 14-11 in the final period.

Isiah Miller contributed 12 points for the Hurricanes.

The Hurricanes improved to 24-8 with the win, Sam Houston will continue in the playoffs.
