The Thunderbirds outscored the Cardinals by a minimum of 11 points the last three quarters to win comfortably.

Journee Phillips and Kaijon Thornton each scored 18 points, Isaiah Kennedy chipped in 15 for the Thunderbirds.

Steven Quintero scored 12 points to lead Cardinals.

Wagner advances to round 3.
