Brandeis took a six-point lead in the 1st quarter (20-14) with Tanner Brown dropping three 3-pointers for nine points in the 1st quarter. The Falcons entered the second quarter determined to keep Brandeis in check by matching the same number of hoops at 18 apiece, keeping the spread locked at six. The Broncos maintaining their lead at halftime 38-32.
Returning from the locker-room, Stevens picked up four more baskets than the Broncos did in the 3rd cutting the Broncos lead down to two points at the end of the 3rd making it 43 -41.
Brandeis turned up the heat in the 4th outscoring the Falcons by eight ending the game 63-53 Broncos.
Brandeis (Overall 20-9, District 12-5) next game is against Marshall Rams on Thursday, Feb 12 at Northside Gym.
