Alter 21, Wapakoneta 7

Connor Bazelak threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score as Alter bumped off Wapakoneta 21-7 to win Division III Regional Championship.

Bazelak threw for 145 yards and scored on a two-yard touchdown run.

Derek Willits led the team on the ground with 120 yards on four carries and caught a 42-yard TD reception from Connor Bazelak.

Brandon McDonald added 76 yards and a touchdown

Knights led at halftime 7-0.

The Redskins could not find the end zone until late in the 4th quarter, they scored on a five-yard touchdown run to prevent a shutout.

The Archbishop Alters improved to 12-1 with the victory and will advance to the next round of the playoffs in face Norwalk Truckers on Friday night at a neutral site, while Wapakoneta dropped to 11-2 to end the 2018 season.
