James Morgan completed just 19 passes, but three went for touchdowns to lead FIU 45-7 victory over UTSA.
Morgan threw a touchdown pass to Maurice Alexander, to put the Golden Panthers on the scoreboard first and set FIU’s single-season record with 22 touchdown passes.
Golden Panthers backup QB Christian Alexander scored the last TD for FIU bringing the score to 45-7.
The Roadrunners didn’t find the end zone until late in the fourth quarter. QB Bryce Rivers threw a 36-yard TD pass to Tykee Ogle-Kellogg to avoid a shutout.
Freshman Brendan Brady led the rushing for the Roadrunners he rushed for 42 yards on nine carries.
The Panthers improved to 7-3 overall, Roadrunners slipped to 3-7.
