Jon Copeland passed for four touchdowns –two to Kody Edwards as Incarnate Word rolled pass Sam Houston State on Saturday.

Jon Copeland completed 16 of 31 passes for 324 yards and four touchdowns with one interception, while Kody Edwards turned in four catches for 122 yards and two touchdowns.

Javon Burse had a 46-yard fumble recovery returned for a score.

Ameer King and Phillip Baptiste both had scoring receptions.

Ra’Quanne Dickens rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown.

Sam Houston State’s Ty Brock completed 21 of 32 passes for 284 yards. Nathan Stewart and Dewaylon Ingram caught touchdown passes for the Bearkats.
