Brody Patty kicked two field goals and Johnson limited Roosevelt to only 217 total yards to claim a key 12-9 district win.

Brody Patty added a 37-yard field goal with :02 remaining in the half to take a 3-o lead at halftime, he also added a 19-yard field goal late in the 3rd to bring the score 6-0.

Justin Rodriguez rushed 33 times for 245 yards and one touchdown, the only touchdown for the Jaguars.

Rough Riders didn’t find the end zone until the 4th quarter, Rashad Owens scored on a 74-yard TD run.

Johnson improved to 5-2 and 3-1, Roosevelt fell to 3-5 and 2-3.

Jaguars will match up against Churchill at Heroes Stadium on Saturday, Roosevelt will play the Lee at Heroes Stadium next Friday night.
