Carroll’s lone point after the conversion was the difference in 25-24 victory over Beavercreek. With the win, Carroll moves to 2-0 while Beavercreek fell to 0-2.
Carroll came from behind to claim the victory. In the second quarter, quarterback Trent Fox trotted in from 12 yards out to close the gap to 12-6. Kade Greer blasted through the extra point, which would ultimately be the difference in the contest.
Beavercreek went 0-for-4 on two-point conversion attempts. Late in the third quarter with a 24-19 lead, the Beavers missed their fourth attempt from three yards out before Carroll was able to rally. Sabastian Rendon opened the scoring for the Beavers by cruising 90 yards for a touchdown.
Frederick Butts capped off a 14-play, 65-yard drive with a 4-yard touchdown run with less than three minutes to play to complete the comeback.

Next week, Carroll takes on Indianapolis Washington at 7:00 PM. As for Beavercreek, they will face off against Fairborn.
