Jordan Battles #6 for Brandeis Broncos was first to get into the end zone with a rushing 9-yards TD with 3:30 left in the first quarter and a good extra point 7-0.
Battles picks up his second TD with a short run into pay dirt during the second quarter 14-0. Broncos #12 Josh Suarez adds more to the Brandeis lead with a 42 yard touchdown pass completion 21-0. Still in the second quarter. Brandeis picks up a Jay fumble and runs it in for a TD, going into the half Brandeis led 28-0.
Battles picks right back up in the 3rd quarter he runs in for another TD with 7:03 left in the quarter 35-0.
The Mustangs get on the board in the fourth quarter with a 17 yard pass competed by #4 Darnell Riley 35-7. Mustangs #2 Danny Amezquita adds another Jay touchdown for 21 yards and a good extra point 35-14.
Brandeis remains undefeated 35-14 and clinches to share the District 26-6A title. The Mustangs still have a chance at the playoff battle if they beat Marshall and Stevens would need to lose their next game.
