The Marshall Bears football team, was ripped 50-14 in Friday’s league challenge with the host Heritage Hall Chargers.
The Chargers (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Perkins-Tryon. The Demons come into the 3A District 1 challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Perkins-Tryon trounced Blackwell, 49-7, in a league challenge.
The Bears now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Blackwell for a 3A District 1 challenge on Friday, October 11. Marshall will meet a Maroons team coming off a 49-7 league loss to Perkins-Tryon. The Maroons record now stands at 1-4.
