Dayton 63, Morehead State 20
Dayton kicked off the final home game of the 2018 season by outscoring Morehead State 42-13 in the first half to get the 63-20 victory on Saturday.
Tucker Yinger and Jack Cook accounted for seven touchdowns.
Tucker Yinger opened the scoring for the Flyers on a 6-yard touchdown run. Yinger rushed for 264 yards on 18 carries, also scored on runs of 68 and 37 yards in the third quarter. Yinger also added a 28-yard pass reception.
Jack Cook threw a touchdown pass and ran for two touchdowns. Cook connected with Tucker Yinger for a 28-yard touchdown pass. Cook ran for 35 yards on 5 carries and scored on runs of five and one yard.
Ben Gauthier, Richie Warfield, and Will Bobek had rushing touchdowns for the Flyers.
Dayton held Morehead State to 255 offensive yards.
Morehead State QB Lawson Page threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to Nathan Sames. Jovan Smith (38-yards rushing) and Chris Nelson (40-yard rushing) added rushing touchdowns for the Eagles.
The Flyers improved to 5-5 overall, Eagles slipped to 3-7.
